NWA Pediatrics is currently in search of a nurse who is seeking part-time and/or PRN hours. The position would require working two or three night clinics per week (5:00pm to 7:00pm) and every other Saturday (8:00am to 11:00am).

Applicant must love working with an amazing pediatric population, exceptional Pediatricians, and talented co-workers. Must be self-motivated, have a pleasant personality, and bring their "A" game to our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl. Negative Nancy or Downer Dan need not apply.

Our pediatricians and staff have 30 years of experience caring for children. Drs. Joe T. Robinson and Terry Payton founded the Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in 1983 to provide comprehensive care for children from infancy to adolescence. Today, NWAP has 19 board certified pediatricians and 2 physician extenders on staff and locations in Fayetteville and Pinnacle Hills.

  • Assist physician; set up for procedures and exams; revising daily schedules; locating lab tests and other reports for the physician to review
  • Contact pharmacy to order new, refill and correct prescriptions; notify patients; document appropriately
  • Notify hospital when admitting patients and send physician's orders
  • Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures; notify patients of test results; schedule follow-up appointments as appropriate
  • Review and administer vaccinations and medications ordered by the physicians
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow. Return phone calls in a timely manner; answer urgent phone calls as needed.


  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN or RN school of nursing
  • Current State License
  • Current CPR Certification
