Position Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the firm and leading the operations team in supporting WealthPath advisors and their clients.
This role ensures the firm’s operational processes function efficiently across areas such as account administration, client service support, retirement plan operations, and regulatory compliance. The Director of Operations works closely with advisors and firm leadership to ensure workflows remain organized, responsibilities are clearly assigned, and operational priorities are executed effectively.
In addition to managing daily operational responsibilities, this role supports the continued development of the operations team and helps strengthen internal processes that allow the firm to grow while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Team Leadership

Supervise and lead the operations team to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to support team performance and professional development.

Coordinate workload distribution and maintain cross-training across operational functions.
Account Administration

Oversee administration of investment accounts across custodial and investment platforms.

Ensure account opening, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and account maintenance are completed efficiently and in accordance with firm procedures.

Assist in researching and resolving complex operational situations when they arise.
Retirement Plan Operations

Support advisors and staff in establishing and maintaining employer-sponsored retirement plan relationships.

Assist with scheduling plan reviews and ensuring plan-related administrative and billing processes are handled appropriately.
Client Service Support

Provide operational support related to client service when appropriate.

Assist advisors and staff in preparing materials and documentation for client and prospect meetings.

Ensure operational inquiries related to accounts or account maintenance are addressed promptly.
Regulatory Compliance Support

Assist leadership in ensuring operational processes align with regulatory requirements and firm policies.

Support compliance readiness for audits, documentation reviews, and regulatory requirements.

Assist with advisor licensing coordination when necessary.
Reporting and Operational Oversight

Prepare operational reports related to account activity and assets under management.

Support leadership in monitoring operational performance and internal workflows.
Process Improvement and Collaboration

Work closely with advisors, custodians, compliance partners, and service providers to maintain smooth operational coordination.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and assist in implementing improvements to workflows and procedures.
Qualifications

Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Management or supervisory experience required.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in wealth management, retirement plans, or financial services preferred.

Experience with custodial and wealth management platforms such as Fidelity, Schwab, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred.

Series 65 license preferred or willingness to obtain the license within one year.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software tools.

Ability to pass required industry background checks.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 depending on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, credentials, and overall fit for the role.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
