Position Summary
The role of the PC Tech Supervisor reports to the Technology Services Manager. This position is responsible for the daily oversight of the PC Tech Team.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment efforts in partnership with manager
- Serve as mentor to support PC tech team in accomplishing goals
- Research and present recommendations for hardware, software, and vendors
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of supplies
- Coordinate and execute significant organization department moves as it relates to technology
- Assist with development and implantation of policies and procedures
- Create report on technical findings
- Provide proactive support and preventative maintenance of network systems
- Participate in enterprise-wide application and system upgrades
- Create, update, and ensure timely completion of helpdesk tickets
- Partner with internal and external clients to resolve issues
- Support multiple devices including computers, laptops, printers, and scanners
- Assist with device imaging and replacement
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED, required.
- Licensure and Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Network+, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years previous experience in an information technology role, required.
Work Environment: This position spends the majority of time sitting (up to 80% of work time) with frequent walking of short distances while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 pounds (up to 20% of work time). This position functions within a clerical/computer sciences office environment.
