Position Summary
The role of the Intake and Marketing Assistant reports to the PACE Center Manager. This position is responsible for collaborating with internal and external clients to ensure program growth in maintained.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Review and assist prospective participants in attaining records for application process
- Attend community third party assessments for level of care
- Provide necessary medical documentation to assessors to support third party review
- Continuously communicate with prospective participants throughout the intake process regarding required materials and scheduling of pre-assessments
- Serve as a community representative for PACE of the Ozarks within the community
- Provide program tours, serves as knowledgeable point of contact for application and intake process
- Maintain effective collaborative relationships with area agencies and providers affiliated with the elderly and supplemental target markets
- Assist with the development and implementation and adherence to policies, procedures and standards within the PACE program
- Support compliance with Federal and State PACE regulations and PACE of the Ozarks policies and procedure and support agency public relations and marketing efforts at the PACE Site
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited marketing, social services or another health-related field.
- Licensure and Certifications: Drivers license and auto liability insurance, required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population, required. Previous knowledge of the Medicare/Medicaid and other payment programs within Arkansas regarding seniors, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend 60% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 40% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position may be exposed to communicable disease and bodily fluids. This position will serve a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population.
