Position Summary
The Epic & IS Applications, Trainer I reports directly to the Training Manager, Epic & IS Applications. This position is responsible for delivering training sessions focused on Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Information Services Applications. This role supports the development of training materials and provides initial troubleshooting assistance during training sessions.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions on Epic and Information Services Applications to end users.
- Assist in the development and updates of training materials specific to Epic and related applications.
- Provide first-level support for troubleshooting issues encountered during Epic training.
- Collaborate with the training team to schedule and organize Epic training sessions.
- Monitor user progress and provide feedback to the Training Manager.
- Assist in setting up training rooms and equipment for Epic-related sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure and Certifications: No preference
- Experience: Preferred - experience in a healthcare or educational setting; familiarity with basic computer skills and software applications; experience with training or teaching others in any capacity; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment
This position will primarily involve delivering training sessions in a classroom environment focused on Epic and applications, with time spent in an office setting. Sitting 60% of the time and standing, walking, upright movement 40% of the time.
