Position Summary

The role of the Provider Integration Coordinator reports to the Director of Provider Integration. This position coordinates the recruitment and onboarding responsibilities and tasks for new employed physicians and providers at Washington Regional while providing administrative support for the Director of Provider Integration.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for provider integration team and process, including schedule management for director, candidates, pro forma presentations, and processing expenses.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment and department initiatives, including applicant tracking maintenance, initial screening, job postings, and communication through applicant sourcing platform, and support at events, as needed.
  • Provide communication with candidates, leadership team, and key stakeholders professionally and timely.
  • Initiate and process prescreening tasks, including initial background, reference, and exclusion checks for candidates.
  • Coordinate and manage travel for provider integration team and candidates for recruiting events and conferences, as directed.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for employed and community physicians and providers in conjunction with support departments to ensure each stakeholder has appropriate information to complete onboarding effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate system access and initial training and 90-day post-onboarding follow-up meetings for providers, as assigned.
  • Coordinate leased apartment for residents as directed by leadership, coordinating with property management to ensure residents complete requirements for occupancy and the property is maintained as expected.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports for leadership, including recruitment tracking reports and PACT meetings.
  • Process and monitor vendor contracts in contract management system.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Licensure/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, human resources, recruitment, pre-employment onboarding or administrative support preferred. Must be proficient in the utilization of administrative computer software tools, including Microsoft Office.

Work Environment: This position spends the majority of time sitting (up to 60% of work time) with frequent walking of short distances (up to 40% of work time). This position performs repetitive type motions (up to 80% of work time). This position functions within a clerical office environment.
