Position Summary

The role of the Marketing Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This position is responsible for supporting Washington Regional’s marketing department in promoting key service lines and with various projects. The position is full-time and on-site in Fayetteville, AR.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Process marketing and communications department requests from internal and external clients by obtaining all necessary information and directing the request to the appropriate marketing team member.
  • Work with agency to communicate needs, collaborate on artwork, and traffic artwork.
  • Perform duties related to employee Online Store, including product research and selection, coordination with supplier on artwork and bulk orders, and processing team member orders and facilitating deliveries.
  • Assist in obtaining information, writing and/or editing content for internal and external distribution that will be used for collateral, advertising, website, social media, letters, reports, internal communication, newsletters, press releases, interviews, media correspondence, meeting agendas, meeting summaries, etc.
  • Plan, organize and execute events including sponsorship related events, external events promoting specific clinics/providers, media events/interviews and internal events.
  • Create presentations as requested and partner with leadership for review and approval
  • Assist with photo and video shoots as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as needed to meet goals and objectives of the department and organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, public relations or related field preferred.
  • Licensure and Certifications: Driver’s license and auto liability insurance is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a marketing or public relations role is preferred.

Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 20% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This is role is on-site.
