Position Summary
The role of the Clinic Manager reports to the Director of Clinic Operations. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of clinic operations with direct supervision of clinic staff members. This position is responsible for addressing personnel, productivity, and system issues and is responsible for overseeing and supporting the continued development of the clinic.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction in accordance with organization goals and objectives.
- Promote teamwork, trust, and respect in every aspect of the organization.
- Provide education and training to staff members and assist with cross-training.
- Ensure clinic is properly staffed through effective scheduling techniques.
- Assist in the development and implementation of short- and long-term goals for the clinic.
- Complete reports and statistics as requested in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage and maintain office needs regarding equipment, space, moves, signage, cleaning, PPE, lab supplies etc.
- Ensure that all Washington Regional policies and procedures are effectively communicated, implemented, and followed by all clinic members.
- Participate in recruitment efforts including interviewing, hiring, and handling of complex personnel issues in partnership with Human Resources, as needed.
- Ensure quality of care through direct supervision and feedback.
- Maintain culture of safety and recommend workflow changes, as appropriate.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a fiscal plan for the practice.
- Monitor operating expenses and provide appropriate reports to administration.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
- Licensure and Certifications: Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance, required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory and/or leadership role, required.
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. Occasional travel between system facilities is required. This position has exposure to body fluids, radiation, and communicable diseases. This position serves a culturally and linguistically diverse population.
