Position Summary

The role of the Data Reporting Analyst I reports to the Integration & Reporting Manager. This position is responsible for working with Washington Regional Medical System in the development of reports to meet decision support, regulatory and operational requirements.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and complete daily deliverables from the report ticket queue.
  • Develop custom reports using industry standard tools.
  • Extract, analyze and manipulate data to create effective reporting.
  • Perform validation testing of reports to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability possible.
  • Ensure data and reporting processes conform to Washington Regional reporting governance, as well as all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation for all reporting processes and workflow.
  • Work with vendor partners regarding support and maintenance for Business Intelligence applications
  • Provide ‘On Call’ support on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, programming or related field. Previous work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelors.
  • Licensure and Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years business or clinical experience with healthcare reporting or related discipline, required. Previous experience with reporting tools, preferred. Previous experience with Information systems and data flow between hospital information applications and clinical information applications.

Work Environment: This position will spend 95% of the time sitting while performing work on a computer. This position will spend 5% of the time standing and/or walking while occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
