Description
SUMMARY
The role of the RN CQI Coordinator reports to the Director of Clinical Operations. This position is responsible for organizing and implementing Dialysis Centers of Northwest Arkansas’ Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement program and assuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times and understands flexibility is a requirement for this role.
- Coordinates quality assessment and performance improvement activities for all facilities based on findings and outcome data.
- Responsible for development of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement plan and process in conjunction with the QAPI committee.
- Responsible for analyzing collected data from each facility and reporting findings to the QAPI committee.
- Collaborates with the Nurse Managers and Clinical Educator in analyzing data and formulating plans of correction for the facilities.
- Responsible for assuring effectiveness of the QAPI Committee through chairmanship.
- Assures facilities’ compliance with regulatory agencies through mock inspections and collaboration with nurse managers and administrator.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for all dialysis facilities. Collaborates with Nurse Managers, Medical Director, and Administrator for policy and procedure development.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrates the ability to multitask.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrates a positive work ethic and demeanor at all times.
- Understands that a positive working relationship with all DCNA staff is required and further understands that administration is a function to support DCNA’s overall mission.
- Participates in staff meetings, in-services, and outside seminars.
- Completes monthly and yearly education in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Holds at least an associate degree in nursing.
- Licensure and Certifications: Valid Arkansas Nursing License
- Experience: One-year dialysis experience required.
