Position Summary

The role of the Central Scheduling Coordinator reports to the Scheduling Manager. This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the central scheduling team.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Review orders to ensure medical necessity issues are resolved and documented prior to service
  • Assist in maintaining assigned department queues to meet goals established by department
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure all necessary documentation is received within desired timeframe
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Licensure and Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clerical support role, medical office, or scheduling role, preferred.

Work Environment: This position will spend approximately 80% of the time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 20% of work time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs .
