Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our rapidly growing, nationally recognized Neuroscience Institute. The successful candidate will practice specifically with our hospital-based Stroke Neurology team.

\n

Job requirement are as follows:

\n
    \n
  • APRN with current Arkansas RN and APRN license with current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner -or- a Board Certified Physician Assistant with AR licensure
  • \n
  • Has, or is eligible, for DEA prescriptive authority
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Previous critical care experience (as RN, APRN, or PA) is preferred
  • \n
\n

Selected candidate will complete the NET SMART AP neurovascular fellowship program which will be funded by WRMC. Upon completion, job duties will include:

    \n
  • Evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with stroke-like symptoms
  • \n
  • Review and interpretation of acute imaging (CT, CTA, CTP, MRI)
  • \n
  • Evaluation and management of hospital inpatients
  • \n
\n

Scheduling to be discussed at the time of the interview. Full-time or part-time available. Northwest Arkansas Neuroscience Institute provides the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, with physicians and providers specially trained in stroke diagnosis, care and rehabilitation. We offer the latest advancements in stroke treatment, including minimally invasive endovascular therapy for acute stroke and other neurovascular disorders.
