Position Summary
\nThe role of the Registered Nurse reports to the Clinic Manager in partnership with the Clinic Physician. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, and assisting with front office duties, as needed.
\nEssential Position Responsibilities

- Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system \n
- Prepare patient for various types procedures and/or examinations and assist physicians, as needed \n
- Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate \n
- Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician \n
- Assist patient by providing direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician \n
- Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed \n
- Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled date to the patient \n
Qualification
\n- \n
- \nEducation: Graduate of an accredited nursing program \n
- \nLicensure and Certifications: Registered Nurse license and CPR, required. \n
- \nExperience: Previous experience in a clinic setting, preferred. \n

Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
