\nDietary Clerk
\nWashington Regional Medical System (the “System”) is our region’s only locally governed, community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system. \nPosition Summary
\nThe role of the Dietary Clerk reports to the Nutrition Manager. This position ensures patient meal tray meets dietary requirements under a diet clerk scope of practice.
\nEssential Position Responsibilities

- Maintain effective working relationship with internal and external clients \n
- Review meal plan assigned by clinical care team members and report information to appropriate departments to ensure timely delivery of meals \n
- Modify patient menus according to diet order while utilizing appropriate software \n
- Review alerts for diet changes and communicate changes accordingly \n
- Maintain inventory of diet office supplies \n
- Review tray to ensure accuracy of tray build \n
Qualifications

- \nEducation: High school diploma or GED, required. \n
- \nLicensure and Certifications: N/A \n
- \nExperience: Previous experience in a hospital food service environment, preferred. \n
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position requires driving between system facilities.
