\nPosition Summary
This position is responsible for billing procedures for all financial classes and cost centers. Manages Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and self pay billing. Responsible for accounts receivable and payable. Verifies and posts charges and payments in the computer. Performs other assigned duties. Majority of time is spent sitting (up to 60% of work time), with some lifting, and pushing/pulling of up to 20 lbs, required (less than 20% of work time).
Licenses/Certifications Required
AR Driver’s License, Auto Liability Insurance
Specific Educational and Skill Competencies Required
High School diploma or equivalent. 2 years office experience including working with computers and knowledge of medical terminology. Working knowledge of insurance billing. Current Arkansas Driver’s License.
Billing Coordinator: Hospice (Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm)
