\nGroup Exercise Leader
\nWashington Regional Medical System (the “System”) is our region’s only locally governed, community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system. Position Summary
\nThe role of Group Exercise Leader reports to the Center for Exercise Manager. This position is responsible for presenting and instructing group exercise classes.
\nEssential Position Responsibilities

- Teach scheduled classes demonstrating proper workout techniques \n
- Prepare equipment and instructional guide for class \n
- Ensure that safety standard are maintained and all policies and procedures are followed \n
- Ensure that safety and injury prevention policies and procedures are adhered to by participants; reports accidents and prepares accident reports, as required \n
Qualifications

- \nEducation: Bachelors degree in related field, required. Minimum 5 years experience and current enrollment in a program will be considered in lieu of. \n
- \nLicensure and Certifications: Group Exercise Certification or Personal Trainer certification from an accredited program, required. CPR required within 90 days. \n
- \nExperience: Previous experience in a kinesiology setting, preferred. \n
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time walking and/or standing while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
