\nPosition Summary
Under the direction of a registered nurse, this position is responsible for providing direct patient care to dialysis patients. Majority of work time is spent standing and/or walking (up to 80% of the time.) Frequent lifting of items weighing approximately 20 lb. is required ( up to 60% of work time.) Heavy transferring, pushing and pulling of patients weighing up to 200 lb. is occasionally required (up to 20% of work time.) This position is exposed to body fluids, chemicals and communicable diseases common to a clinical dialysis setting.
Licenses/Certifications Required: Arkansas LPN License; Graduation from a licensed practical nursing program. Good interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with patients, physicians, hospital personnel and families. Previous clinical nursing experience of at least one year to be able to work with moderate supervision.
