Job Summary:
As the first point of contact between Washington County citizens, emergency personnel, Washington County employees and the Department of Emergency Management, it is essential that the incumbent have a positive attitude, professional demeanor and prompt responsiveness to requests and questions. The incumbent is responsible for greeting all visitors to the DEM office, answering the telephone, providing general information, providing technical information, assisting emergency personnel with timely and accurate information, as well as general office procedures.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
