Workday & Hours: 40 hours a week

Job Summary:

The Drug Court Counselor in Training has the knowledge and ability to facilitate 12Steps Recovery groups and programs. Knowledgeable of addiction treatment, including theories and practices. Recognizes and responds to substance abuse symptoms in a client. Screens clients and reviews clients' records to analyze treatment needs. Collects, organizes, and analyzes clients' information, tests, and interviews to appraise their interest, aptitude, abilities, and personality characteristics for vocational and educational planning

Required Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
