Salary: $21.91 - $24.14/hr
Pay Grade: 10
Workday & Hours: (Full-Time 8:00am- 4:30pm)
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible (After 60 days of employment, Health - Dental - Vision - Life Insurance - EAP Program - Retirement APERS (Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System)
Vacation Eligibility after 6 months of employment (84 hours up to 3 years)
Sick hours available after 90 days of employment (112 hours up to 3 years)
Twelve Holidays a year + Employee Birthday (Thirteen total)
Job Summary:
The Juvenile Probation Officer is responsible for supervision of Juvenile Court cases, including working with juveniles and families involved in Delinquency and/or FINS (Family in Need of Services) cases to monitor compliance with court orders as well as refer juveniles and families to services needed for rehabilitation. The Juvenile Probation Officer will be required to maintain case documents, and testify in court, and will work as part of a team to address an array of juvenile and family situations. This position requires decision-making, problem solving, and accurate reporting skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with juveniles, families, community.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre-employment, random drug and reasonable suspicion testing and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
