The Drug Court Counselor in Training has the knowledge and ability to facilitate 12Steps Recovery groups and programs. Knowledgeable of addiction treatment, including theories and practices. Recognizes and responds to substance abuse symptoms in a client. Screens clients and reviews clients' records to analyze treatment needs. Collects, organizes, and analyzes clients' information, tests, and interviews to appraise their interest, aptitude, abilities, and personality characteristics for vocational and educational planning

Washington County Drug Court Division IV is seeking two Full Time Drug Court - Counselor (one for Madison and one Washington County). This is an hourly position with an annual amount of $39,696.
