Walmart AMP Seasonal Part Time Cocktail Server

Season starts in April and goes thru October

$100 flat rate plus tips in day of show $15 per hour on non-show days

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest? We're looking for a dynamic and friendly Server to join our team at the Walmart AMP. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for assisting guests during events, taking drink orders, delivering beverages promptly, and ensuring all guests' needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner; take drink orders and provide menu recommendations tailored to customer preferences.
• Beverage Delivery: Accurately and promptly deliver beverages to the appropriate sponsor boxes or guests.
• Menu Knowledge: Become familiar with our extensive drink menu, including specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Be ready to share details on drink features and promotions.
• Upselling: Engage with guests to suggest additional items or promotions to enhance their experience.
• Communication: Collaborate with bartenders, support staff, and supervisors to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. Address guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and well-organized serving station. Clear trash from sponsor boxes and ensure all areas are neat and tidy.
• Teamwork: Work effectively with fellow servers, bartenders, and support staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Responsible Service: Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, monitor guest intoxication levels, and comply with all ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) regulations.
• Payment Processing & Inventory Management: Accurately process payments, record sales, and track inventory or spoilage when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of service industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a point of sale (POS) system (experience with Shift4 SkyTab is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure while providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
• A strong desire to learn and improve within the hospitality industry.
• Must be able to work bo th independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing or walking for extended periods in varying conditions (concrete, grass, etc.).
• Comfortable working in large, crowded environments with loud noise, flashing lights, and outdoor elements.
• Must have a working cell phone and be open to using it for work-related purposes.
