Role summary:The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, leads the development and execution of complex data models and analytical solutions to address critical business challenges. This role partners with senior leadership to align analytics strategies with organizational goals, driving impactful insights and informed decision-making. Responsible for managing end-to-end projects, coaching and developing a high-performing team, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement innovative prototypes and solutions. The position demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to translate advanced analytics into actionable business outcomes that support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Marketplace Advanced Analytics team leverages data to enhance Walmart’s third-party eCommerce business, focusing on assortment, search, pricing, and category performance. This team analyzes product assortment to identify gaps, track high-value and in-demand items, and evaluate performance during key events. Collaborating closely with business, product, and technology teams, the group transforms insights into actionable strategies that improve both customer and seller experiences. The team values strong leadership, advanced analytics, data analysis, project management, and collaboration to drive impactful business outcomes and support continuous growth.
What you'll do:
- Lead advanced analytics initiatives to address complex business challenges and support data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and actionable recommendations.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing analytics team, fostering skill development and engagement.
- Oversee end-to-end project management, including prototype development, testing, and implementation of data models and algorithms.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating analytics effectiveness and integrating innovative techniques.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align analytics solutions with business objectives and operational needs.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
