About the team:
The Workforce Intelligence & Insights team is Walmart’s enterprise People Analytics group, supporting workforce decisions for over 2.1 million associates globally. The team addresses key questions in hiring, development, workforce planning, retention, total rewards, and organizational effectiveness. By leveraging advanced analytics, AI, labor market intelligence, and strong business partnerships, the team enables leaders to understand their workforce and make informed decisions. Collaborating closely with business partners, the team transforms data into actionable insights that shape the future of work at Walmart, ensuring associates remain central to every decision.
What you'll do:
- Analyze complex business problems using advanced data analytics and automation techniques to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
- Define key metrics and success criteria to measure the impact and progress of data-driven initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and validate data sources ensuring data quality and fitness for purpose.
- Translate business requirements into data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and deliver compelling data visualizations and insights to influence stakeholders and support decision-making.
- Mentor team members on analytical methods, data quality standards, and visualization best practices.
- Lead data quality management efforts and monitor operational performance to enhance business outcomes.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data analysis, data visualization, and exploratory data analysis using tools such as Power BI and Python.
- Strong knowledge of data strategy, data quality management, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in data engineering and data management within agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying data sources, performing quality checks, and ensuring data fit for purpose.
- Proven leadership skills in mentoring team members and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights and influence stakeholders effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
