The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering, leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems within supply chain operations. This role leverages advanced data analysis and project management to drive operational excellence and process optimization. Our team designs and implements automation systems that enhance Walmart’s eCommerce fulfillment centers by improving capacity, productivity, and reliability. We collaborate across Operations, Technology, Finance, and other areas to develop scalable, data-driven solutions that optimize capital investment and customer experience. Focused on operational excellence and innovation, we transform complex challenges into practical engineering designs. What you'll do...

• Lead the design, development, and integration of automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and process improvement.
• Utilize data analysis tools to explore complex data, develop insights, and influence strategic decisions.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery of automation initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify automation opportunities and implement technology changes.
• Oversee financial analysis and business case development to support automation investments.
• Document and communicate project status, integration plans, and performance metrics clearly and concisely.
• Foster continuous improvement by analyzing workflows and recommending scalable solutions.

• Proven expertise in automation system design, integration, and troubleshooting within complex operational environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
