What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Staff, Product Manager leads strategy and execution for a complex piece of Walmart’s in-store media and experience platform, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires deep technical insight — particularly in device management, IoT, or network operations — strong stakeholder leadership, and ownership of product vision, roadmaps, and lifecycle management. The position influences cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business impact while mentoring peers and advancing product discipline. It emphasizes data-driven decision-making, innovation, and a bias toward automation, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and the reliability of Walmart’s global in-store media network.
About the team:
The product team manages Walmart’s global in-store media and experience platform, supporting digital screens, audio, kiosks, mobile apps, activations, and signage across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, and international markets. This team builds and operates the platform that integrates paid and owned media, enabling a unified, measurable media network across thousands of locations serving millions weekly. Work spans platform governance, commercial media operations, and technical infrastructure including device management, content delivery, scheduling, and measurement. The team drives innovation and scale, transforming Walmart’s physical footprint into a comprehensive media and experience ecosystem.
What you'll do:
- Define and execute multi-quarter product vision and strategy for complex or related products, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver value from discovery through launch and scaling.
- Build deep customer and market insights using data analysis, design thinking, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
- Drive data-driven decision making through experimentation, telemetry, and advanced analytics to optimize product outcomes.
- Influence technical direction by collaborating with Engineering on architecture, feasibility, and innovation opportunities.
- Mentor product managers, promoting rigorous discovery, roadmap development, and launch readiness.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps for complex or related products.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior partners.
- Experience in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics, experimentation, and AI feature assessment.
- Deep understanding of customer needs through structured research, journey mapping, and feedback synthesis.
- Ability to manage product lifecycle from discovery through launch and value realization, balancing scope, quality, and speed.
- Technical proficiency in emerging technologies, hardware support, and software product management.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring product managers and fostering rigorous product discipline.

Sunnyvale, California US-11657: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
