What you'll do:
- Lead category strategy development and execution for a highly complex merchandising category, aligning with long-term business objectives.
- Manage profit and loss responsibilities, analyzing financial data to drive pricing, inventory, and promotional decisions.
- Oversee supplier negotiations, establishing terms, performance metrics, and communication to ensure category profitability.
- Direct team management activities including performance development, task prioritization, and career guidance.
- Utilize data analytics to inform assortment, modular layout, and channel strategies that enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support supply chain, marketing, and private brand initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing technology and process enhancements aligned with company goals.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in category and financial management with a strong track record of profit and loss ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive category and channel strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Experience leading and managing high-performing teams, including talent development and performance management.
- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to drive price leadership and favorable terms.
- Proficiency in leveraging data analytics and digital tools to inform merchandising decisions and optimize assortment.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
- Exceptional business planning and product strategy capabilities.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising , or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area. OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.2 years’ supervisory experience.
