Role summary:The (USA) Staff, Product Manager leads strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires strong stakeholder leadership and deep customer and technical understanding to define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies. The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation to optimize product performance. The Staff Product Manager mentors peers, manages risk and dependencies, and ensures alignment with broader business objectives while advancing product discipline and delivering measurable impact across the product lifecycle.
About the team:
The team leads strategic market implementations by leveraging Walmart’s pricing enterprise platform across multiple markets. It enhances operational efficiency through automation and optimizes annual event strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team applies data-driven decision-making and emerging technologies to develop effective product roadmaps. This group plays a vital role in shaping business strategies and ensuring seamless execution within a complex product environment, supporting Walmart’s focus on innovation and value creation across its markets.
What you'll do:
- Define and execute multi-quarter product vision and strategy for complex or related products, aligning with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver value from discovery through launch and scaling.
- Build deep customer and market insights using data analysis, journey mapping, and feedback mechanisms to prioritize product initiatives.
- Drive data-driven decision making through experimentation, analytics, and AI opportunity assessment to optimize product outcomes.
- Influence technical direction by collaborating with Engineering on architecture, feasibility, and innovation without direct authority.
- Mentor product managers on roadmap development, discovery rigor, and launch readiness to elevate product discipline.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for complex products or product sets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align product vision with business objectives.
- Expertise in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics, experimentation, and translating insights into actionable product priorities.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their application within product development and innovation.
- Ability to synthesize customer and market insights into clear problem statements and measurable success metrics.
- Skilled in coordinating with engineering, design, and business partners to deliver scalable product solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring product managers and driving continuous process optimization.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
