Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition leads strategic initiatives by translating business goals into actionable plans that align with team capacity. This role drives operational excellence through data-informed decision-making, process optimization, and consistent stakeholder communication. This person will lead a global team, coaching and developing associates across time zones to enhance performance and maintain high standards. Partnering closely with business leaders, the Senior Manager ensures priorities support organizational objectives while managing risks and resource allocation effectively. The role blends people leadership, operational expertise, and project management, requiring strong judgment, the ability to manage complexity, and comfort operating in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.

The Walmart Global Talent Acquisition team hires over 20,000 home office associates annually, connecting exceptional talent with opportunities across Retail, Corporate Functions, Growth, and Technology. Beyond filling roles, the team acts as strategic advisors, delivering data-driven insights and partnering with business leaders to align hiring with priorities. Focused on quality talent and a seamless candidate experience, the team combines technology and market intelligence to operate efficiently. This group plays a vital role in building teams that innovate, serve millions of customers daily, and shape the future of retail through thoughtful talent strategies and operational excellence.

What you'll do...

  • Translate business goals into actionable plans aligned with team capacity.
  • Monitor and adjust priorities to address shifting timelines, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Build credibility with Directors and senior business leaders through consistency and preparation.
  • Coach and develop associates to enhance quality and execution.
  • Analyze metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure process compliance, data accuracy, and consistent candidate experience across teams.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide data-driven updates and manage expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operations and team capability development.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
