Role summary:The (USA) Specialist, Alarm Central plays a critical role in monitoring and responding to safety and security alarms by coordinating appropriate responses, including dispatching security patrols and alerting emergency services. About the team:
The Alarm Central team monitors security and life-safety alarm systems, coordinating timely responses to incidents affecting associates, customers, and facilities. Collaborating closely with field leaders and internal partners, the team ensures consistent handling of alarms and swift escalation when necessary. Members investigate alarm activity, notify appropriate emergency services, and support safety events while maintaining accurate documentation. Operating in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, the team upholds high standards of communication, judgment, and adherence to procedures to protect people and property effectively. This role is fully onsite in Bentonville, AR, supporting critical safety operations.
What you'll do:
- Investigate and respond promptly to alarms by dispatching security patrols or notifying emergency services as required.
- Assist associates during safety or security events, ensuring their well-being and effective incident management.
- Monitor multiple systems continuously to identify potential risks and coordinate corporate responses through timely advisories.
- Compile and maintain accurate daily and incident reports in compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.
- Provide backup and on-call security support to maintain operational readiness.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with team members and business partners to achieve safety objectives.
- Uphold integrity, ethical standards, and compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
What you'll bring:
- Proven knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems, including NFPA 72 and related safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate responses and interact with associates and emergency services.
- Experience in monitoring and investigating alarms, with the ability to assess risks and initiate appropriate actions.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ability to compile detailed incident and daily reports accurately and timely.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on building trusting relationships and supporting team objectives.
- Adaptability to support backup and on-call security services as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
