Role summary:
The Manager, Strategic Account Management, leads the development and execution of key account strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role involves building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, overseeing team performance, and ensuring alignment with company policies and ethical standards. The position requires analytical insight to interpret business metrics, guide sales forecasting, and identify improvement opportunities. About the team:
The Marketplace Account Management Central Team supports seller growth on Walmart Marketplace by collaborating with multi-category sellers to provide a broad assortment with strong value and service. The team drives success for small and medium sellers through strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. Utilizing stakeholder engagement, data modeling, and relationship management, members deliver impactful business solutions. The team focuses on fostering productive partnerships, enabling seller growth, and aligning efforts with Walmart’s standards to create lasting value for both customers and sellers.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business plans and initiatives.
  • Lead strategic account planning, forecasting, and sales proposal development to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Oversee team performance by mentoring, training, and providing development opportunities.
  • Analyze business metrics and data models to identify improvement opportunities and inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards while promoting continuous learning and adaptability.
  • Drive onboarding processes and resolve escalations to enhance customer experiences.
  • Facilitate effective negotiation and communication to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop compelling, fact-based arguments and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Expertise in interpreting business metrics, data models, and reports to inform strategic account planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering accountability, continuous learning, and development opportunities.
  • Knowledge of product features and value propositions to effectively support sales and assortment management.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and compliance in all business practices.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
