Role summary:
The Manager, Asset Protection, leads the development and validation of reporting analyses to ensure data integrity and supports strategic initiatives to mitigate risks and reduce loss. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize critical processes, analyzing trends to identify root causes, and presenting findings to senior leadership. The position oversees recovery efforts, manages key stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous improvement in compliance and operational performance. The manager also fosters associate development, promotes ethical standards, and supports a culture of accountability to achieve business objectives effectively.
About the team:
The Asset Protection Hub operates as a 24/7 monitoring center supporting the Global Security Operations Center, focusing on investigations and multi-channel monitoring within Walmart U.S. operations. The team manages critical investigative, monitoring, incident response, and operational functions to safeguard company assets. Collaborating across departments, the team ensures data integrity and risk mitigation while supporting business objectives. This role primarily covers overnight shifts at the Home Office campus in Northwest Arkansas, providing essential coverage to maintain continuous protection and operational excellence within the Asset Protection Hub and GSOC environment.
What you'll do:
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct investigations into internal and external fraud, including Organized Retail Crime (ORC), using data analysis to identify trends and support proactive decision-making. Build strong partnerships with Asset Protection field leaders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges. Additional Responsibilities: Support AP GSOC operations during incidents and emergencies, monitor real-time activity to identify safety and security risks, improve response processes with AP Hub teams, and ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and operational standards. This role works overnights in the GSOC building.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven investigative experience in Asset Protection, Organized Retail Crime (ORC), and incident response operations.
  • Strong ability to conduct complex investigations, analyze intelligence, and identify fraud, theft, and loss trends.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics, research tools, and multiple data sources to support investigations and operational decision-making.
  • Ability to learn/understand GSOC operations, real-time monitoring, threat assessment, and emergency response processes.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with field operations, Home Office teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting investigative findings and operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethical standards, accountability, and the protection of people, assets, and company resources.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
