Role summary:The Senior Manager, Construction-DS, leads the execution and delivery of construction projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within scope, and budget. This role directs contractors and design partners to maintain compliance with Walmart’s standards and applicable regulations. The position requires proactive risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and oversight of project governance from pre-construction through closeout. The manager drives continuous process improvements, enforces quality control, and provides leadership to project teams, fostering accountability and operational excellence while supporting enterprise priorities and maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do:
- Lead construction project execution to ensure completion on schedule, within scope, and on budget while managing contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Review/approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee construction compliance by conducting routine reviews and addressing deviations from Walmart and industry standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve issues, negotiate change orders, and monitor performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Development, Facilities, Procurement, and Operations to align construction with business priorities.
- Prepare and present project status, budget, and risk mitigation reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and document best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency/consistency.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate general contractors, architects, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.
- Strong skills in risk management, quality control, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated expertise in cross-functional collaboration with procurement, facilities, and operations teams.
- Proficiency in reviewing construction documentation and driving corrective actions to maintain project compliance.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve project challenges and maintain delivery momentum.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
