Role summary:The Senior Manager, Construction-DS, leads the execution and delivery of construction projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within scope, and budget. This role directs contractors and partners to maintain compliance with design standards, codes, and safety requirements while managing risk and resolving challenges. The position fosters cross-functional collaboration to align construction efforts with operational priorities and drives continuous process improvements. It also oversees vendor performance, project governance, and documentation, while mentoring team members to uphold high standards of quality, integrity, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do:
- Lead construction project execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, directing contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Review and approve construction drawings and specifications to align with design standards before procurement and construction.
- Manage construction compliance by enforcing adherence to Walmart and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve issues, negotiate change orders, and monitor performance metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Development, Facilities, Procurement, and Operations to align construction with business priorities.
- Drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and document best practices.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to construction teams.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate general contractors, architects, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.
- Strong skills in risk management, quality control, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Expertise in construction compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Walmart safety standards.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in driving process improvements and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Solid financial management skills, including cost control and budget tracking.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
