Role summary:The Manager, Career Pathways is responsible for translating career pathway strategy into clear, practical, and field-ready tools that support career growth across Upstream Facility Services. This role ensures that career progression is clearly defined, consistently documented, aligned to learning programs, and easy to understand and apply.
The Manager, Career Pathways helps define role-level expectations, maintain pathway resources, and ensures that career growth tools remain relevant, practical, and aligned with evolving business priorities
Key responsibilities include managing pathway documentation, supporting processes, coordinating stakeholder input, identifying improvement opportunities, and continuously refining pathway resources to strengthen career clarity, technician development, and leader effectiveness.
About the team:
The Teach team supports Career Pathways for Upstream Facility Services by enabling technicians to develop essential knowledge, skills, and confidence for career growth. The team designs clear learning paths, connects members to practical training, and ensures consistent standards across facilities. Through targeted training, resources, and hands-on development, the team enhances performance and operational readiness. This approach prepares technicians for future roles, fostering a capable and career-focused workforce that aligns with business goals and supports long-term success.
What you'll do:
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of career pathways across Upstream Facility Services, including internal, external, and role-level pathways.
- Help define and document success at each career level, including skills, behaviors, experience, performance expectations, and readiness indicators.
- Support role architecture and career movement design by helping clarify how roles connect and how associates can move vertically, laterally, diagonally, or across trades.
- Assist with developing career pathway tools and resources, such as pathway maps, growth visuals, and progression guides for associates and leaders.
- Support standardized program governance by helping document program purpose, learner audience, pathway alignment, learning outcomes, knowledge checks, and skill validation expectations.
What you'll bring:
- Ability to organize workstreams, manage details, document standards, and move work forward across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong partnership skills with the ability to work across cross functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Understanding of how skills, behaviors, performance standards, learning, and career progression connect.
- Ability to create clear documentation, templates, presentations, leader resources, and field-facing communication materials.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify gaps, clarify requirements, and recommend practical improvements.
- Comfort working in a developing or evolving space where processes, tools, and standards may need to be built from the ground up.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ownership of execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
