What you'll do...
Role summary:The Sr. Manager, Communications Strategy & Team Management leads a communications and associate engagement team responsible for aligning leaders, associates, and business partners through clear, consistent, and effective communication. This role sets and drives channel and platform strategy to ensure communications are timely, measurable, and aligned to evolving business priorities.
About the team:
The team drives alignment of Upstream Facility Services by establishing clear priorities and consistent communication strategies. It supports leaders and coordinates key forums such as town halls and staff meetings to enhance engagement. Managing core content platforms and communication channels—including Tech Hub/AEM, OneWalmart, newsletters, and texting tools—the team increases awareness and promotes action across field and home office operations. Utilizing data-driven insights and effective communication, the team supports business strategies, ensures stakeholder alignment, and contributes to informed decision-making and operational excellence across multiple functions.
What you'll do:
Own the communications and associate engagement strategy and governance for Upstream Facility Services, Walmart's maintenance organization. In this role, you will lead and develop a communications team, own communications strategy and governance across channels, and ensure consistent messaging and continuous improvement of platform effectiveness. This role will build strong cross-functional partnerships, prepare leaders for key events, and maintain awareness of priorities.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in strategic corporate and/or field-facing communications and change management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives and drive transformational projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive presentations and engagement.
- Ability to analyze feedback, identify gaps, and develop sustainable improvement solutions aligned with business goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
