The Technical Controls Assessment team at Walmart focuses on safeguarding enterprise solutions by evaluating security controls and ensuring adherence to organizational policies. Utilizing expertise in cyber security, risk management, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing, the team supports secure cloud transformations and threat mitigation. They collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and enhance Walmart’s security posture, ensuring a resilient environment aligned with business goals. What you'll do:
- Lead cyber risk assessment activities, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending effective treatments aligned with organizational policies.
- Analyze cybersecurity gaps and evaluate potential business impacts to guide risk management strategies.
- Develop and implement security assessment and testing plans, ensuring continuous improvement of system defenses.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to communicate risk findings and influence technical and business decisions.
- Conduct threat intelligence analysis to identify emerging cyber threats and advise on mitigation approaches.
- Drive the development and enforcement of corporate security policies and compliance monitoring.
- Mentor team members on risk management techniques and emerging cybersecurity trends.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in cyber risk assessment, management techniques, and vulnerability evaluation aligned with organizational policies.
- Strong knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, risk treatments, and evolving security landscapes.
- Experience leading cyber risk assessment activities and implementing improvements to vulnerability assessment methods.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, including identification, engagement, and communication to support business objectives.
- Ability to analyze threat intelligence and provide actionable recommendations based on comprehensive cyber operations knowledge.
- Skilled in developing and enforcing security policies, governance frameworks, and compliance monitoring.
- Demonstrated capability in managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional partnerships to mitigate risks.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
