Our team manages enterprise-scale big data platforms, delivering stable and governed data warehouse and lake solutions. We develop advanced platform capabilities that support large-scale data needs across business domains, enabling applications, reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives. Focused on reliability, scalability, and innovation, we integrate cloud-native architectures and AI agents to enhance system performance. The team emphasizes operational excellence, continuous improvement, and technical leadership to ensure robust, enterprise-grade platforms that drive business value and support strategic objectives across Walmart’s ecosystem.
What you'll do:

• Lead design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions.
• Translate domain-level strategies into system-level implementations, ensuring architectural integrity and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, automating processes, and enhancing system reliability and performance.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices to maintain resilient, observable, and high-quality software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration to foster innovation and engineering excellence.
• Make informed architectural decisions balancing long-term business goals and technical trade-offs.
• Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and customer-focused execution.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native software systems with AI integration.
• Proven technical leadership in executing system-level architecture and driving operational excellence.
• Strong proficiency in reliability engineering, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.
• Expertise in problem solving, innovation, and optimizing system performance and scalability.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
• Excellent collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Sunnyvale, California US-11657: The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
