About the team:
The Walmart Inventory Planning Capabilities Product Management team develops advanced planning and forecasting solutions using machine learning and statistical modeling. This team oversees the inventory planning ecosystem across omni-channel networks, focusing on forecasting, inventory placement, targets, and item lifecycle management. By optimizing inventory positioning and safety stock, the team enhances operational efficiency. Members demonstrate strong ownership, data-driven decision making, and collaborate closely with engineering and business partners. They lead product strategy, execution, and continuous improvement to support Walmart’s merchandising operations and drive impactful results.
What you'll do:
- Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products, leveraging deep domain expertise and data-driven insights.
- Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to address complex customer problems and prioritize product requirements.
- Establish scalable mechanisms for gathering customer feedback and transforming insights into actionable problem statements.
- Guide product lifecycle management, including MVP development, launch execution, and long-term optimization.
- Influence enterprise prioritization through strategic narratives and opportunity-sizing models.
- Mentor product managers and promote best practices to elevate product management discipline.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
