Position Summary...

The Senior Director, Parts & Tools is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and operational performance of Walmart's Upstream Facility Services enterprise Parts & Tools organization. This leader ensures 24/7 support for parts escalations, supplier performance, and the availability of critical operational assets that enable field technicians and store operations across the enterprise.

This role oversees supplier relationships, fleet and asset management, inventory planning, and parts fulfillment while driving continuous improvements in cost, service, and operational readiness.

What you'll do...

  • Lead enterprise Parts & Tools strategy and operations supporting Field Services and stores.
  • Provide 24/7 escalation leadership to resolve critical issues quickly.
  • Oversee parts procurement and fulfillment for internal technicians and third-party providers.
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships to improve service levels, quality, cost, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop inventory/replenishment strategies to increase availability and reduce excess.
  • Lead fleet management and vehicle lifecycle planning for field operations.
  • Manage distribution of tools, uniforms, PPE, and technician equipment.
  • Drive standardization and process improvements across procurement, suppliers, and asset management.
  • Leverage analytics/automation to improve visibility, supplier performance, and efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Field Services) to improve execution.
  • Establish KPIs for inventory health, supplier performance, asset utilization, fulfillment speed, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a multi-layer team; foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 7 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience.
