What you'll do...
Role summary:The role shall drive cross-functional initiatives to resolve business challenges and drive transformational change across the organization.
This role supports strategic initiatives by gathering and cleaning data, building analyses, creating dashboards, preparing presentation materials, maintaining project trackers, shaping strategy & strategic initiatives and supporting business cases. The position requires managing projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering continuous improvement.
The role holder will provide data analysis & insights support, strategy creation, program planning & management, and communication support for Walmart’s Sourcing & Procurement teams as part of the Strategy & Transformation team.

The Strategy & Transformation team drives enterprise Sourcing & Procurement priorities by delivering high-value initiatives and scaling effective practices across teams, markets, and categories. The team emphasizes clear decision-making, disciplined pilots, strong governance, and AI/digital enablement to achieve measurable enterprise impact. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team focuses on business planning, data analysis, and go-to-market strategies to support transformational change and continuous improvement. This group fosters disciplined execution and innovation to enhance operational performance and deliver sustainable business results aligned with organizational goals.
What you'll do:
- Conduct data pulls, data cleaning, analysis, and research to support strategy and transformation projects.
- Support business cases, financial models, benchmarking, value sizing, and opportunity assessments.
- Lead change initiatives by implementing transformational processes, assessing readiness, and ensuring timely project execution.
- Develop and communicate strategic business plans, aligning priorities and managing resources to achieve objectives.
- Monitor key performance metrics, communicate strategic direction, and recommend program enhancements to leadership.
- Develop clear PowerPoint materials, executive summaries, project updates, and working-team documents.
- Use AI / LLM tools to summarize information, generate insights, shape strategy, build dashboards, and create workflows for recurring tasks.
- Support playbooks, templates, governance materials, operating rhythms, and repeatable tools.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing business strategy and leading cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and analytic applications to inform decision-making.
- Expertise in developing and executing business plans aligned with business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change initiatives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence and align various teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while adapting to evolving business priorities.
- Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Problem solving toolkit to break down ambiguous questions and supports practical recommendations.
- AI and Digital Fluency: Uses AI, automation, and analytics tools to improve productivity and decision support

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
