What you'll do...
Role summary:The Project Manager for the Item Catalog & Data Governance Team supports Sam’s Club merchandising operations by ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable item catalog data and processes. This role manages product attribution settings, researches and resolves data issues, supports adherence to item catalog standards and expectations, and provides operational guidance on item catalog tools and systems. The position partners with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, support business needs, and maintain high standards of data integrity and operational efficiency across all Sam's Club systems.
About the team:
The Item Catalog Operations team plays a vital role in Sam’s Club by ensuring accurate and comprehensive item data that enhances member shopping experiences and supports merchant decisions. The team develops scalable tools, processes, and operational support to enable efficient item setup and maintenance while maintaining high standards of data quality and consistency. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team drives operational efficiency across the organization, managing projects with clear communication and effective planning to achieve business objectives and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of Sam’s Club Item Catalog data by monitoring item attributes, researching data issues, correcting exceptions, and ensuring proper product attribution and structure settings.
- Support adherence to Item Catalog processes, standards, and system expectations by providing guidance on tools, workflows, and best practices that drive consistency and operational efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day operational support by troubleshooting item setup issues, responding to support requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying opportunities to improve tools, processes, and overall business efficiency.
What you'll bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience managing item setup, catalog operations, or data governance processes with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide operational guidance and support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and drive continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
