Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Billing, leads compliance and operational excellence in medical billing processes by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves managing vendor contracts, overseeing audit quality, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize billing accuracy and efficiency. The position requires strategic planning, performance management, and continuous process improvement to support business objectives. The Senior Manager also provides leadership and development for associates, fosters strong partnerships, and drives initiatives that enhance billing operations while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and regulatory compliance.
About the team:
Our team oversees the Revenue Cycle for clinical services in pharmacies, managing processes from initial plan setup through cash application, denial tracking, appeals, and closing Open Accounts Receivable. We ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize billing operations. The team drives continuous improvement in billing processes and supports business goals through effective project and performance management. By collaborating across departments, we deliver accurate, timely results while fostering a professional environment focused on development, accountability, and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local billing regulations by monitoring changes and updating processes accordingly.
  • Evaluate audit results and modify procedures to maintain quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage vendor contracts, monitor performance, and implement corrective action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support business planning, risk assessment, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for billing operations, including program evaluations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performing, accountable work environment.
  • Communicate business priorities and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience in managing billing operations with strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations impacting medical bill payments.
  • Proven ability to lead vendor contract management, ensuring compliance and optimizing service delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supervising teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive results.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of executing business plans and continuous process improvements.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and present insights to leadership.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
