Role summary:Senior Manager, Data Analytics to lead advanced data initiatives & standardization of KPIs to drive strategic business decisions across eComm, Merchandizing and Operations. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, quality management, and visualization to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate across functions to develop data strategies, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Leveraging analytical tools and methodologies, this position supports continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining high standards of data governance and integrity to enhance operational effectiveness and customer value.
About the team:
The Data Analytics team at Walmart International delivers actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions supporting eCommerce, Operations, and Merchandising across multiple markets. The team develops and automates dashboards, ensures data accuracy, and analyzes pricing and customer behavior to guide strategic decisions. Collaborating with merchants and market leaders, they standardize reporting and optimize data models using advanced tools like Power BI and BigQuery. The team manages data governance and vendor coordination, driving consistent metrics and enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance global business performance.
What you'll do:
- Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and automation techniques.
- Develop and implement data visualization strategies to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Lead data strategy initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance, quality, and security policies.
- Mentor and guide team members on analytics methods, data storytelling, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-enabled decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Oversee data quality management, profiling, cleansing, and monitoring activities to maintain data integrity.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data analytics, big data technologies, and statistical modeling to drive business insights.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced data visualization tools to create compelling, actionable reports.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data strategy principles.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using analytical methods and automation techniques.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.1 year's supervisory experience.
