Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation to support strategic business decisions. This position leads complex financial modeling, monitors control structures, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance reporting transparency and operational efficiency. Responsible for guiding teams, developing talent, and fostering a high-performance environment, the role ensures alignment with company policies and ethical standards. The Senior Manager also communicates financial insights to senior leadership, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and contributes to achieving business objectives while maintaining a focus on integrity and accountability.

About the team:
The eCommerce Fulfillment Transformation team drives strategic and financial initiatives that deliver enterprise-wide value. They provide data-driven financial and strategic analyses to influence business outcomes and manage an expanding eCommerce portfolio through innovative financial strategies. Collaborating across functions, the team ensures effective financial planning, risk mitigation, and transparent reporting. Focused on continuous improvement, they support business growth by fostering clear communication, strong partnerships, and adaptive solutions aligned with Walmart’s mission to deliver value and exceptional experiences to customers and members.

What you'll do...

  • Prepare financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend expense targets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and enhance reporting transparency.
  • Manage control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management and support decision-making.
  • Lead execution of business plans by identifying priorities, removing obstacles, and measuring progress.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop associates to build a high-performing team aligned with company values.
  • Promote continuous improvement, ethical standards, and a culture of accountability and collaboration.

  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling to support business performance and expense management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex control structures and mitigate financial risks through effective process development and monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior and executive management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams aligned with company values and ethics.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
