Role summary:The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate product content, execute promotional features, and enhance customer experience through data-driven insights. The Associate Merchant contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and modular assortment strategies while maintaining strong vendor relationships. By applying analytical skills and operational expertise, this position helps drive category performance and supports the execution of business plans aligned with organizational goals and customer needs.

What you'll do:
- Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels.
- Own execution of customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content, adhering to taxonomy and search guidelines.
- Analyze category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Contribute to feature and promotional planning across stores and online platforms.
- Collaborate on modular assortment implementation and inventory decisions to optimize customer experience.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or related sectors.
- Strong skills in category strategy development and product assortment planning to support merchandising goals.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to influence business decisions and improve category performance.
- Proficiency in managing purchase orders, supplier issue resolution, and item setup processes for both stores and online channels.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
