Role summary:
The (USA) Merchant leads category strategy and financial management for a moderately complex category, driving assortment and pricing decisions to meet business objectives. This role involves analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to optimize product lifecycle and channel strategies. The Merchant collaborates cross-functionally to manage supplier relationships, inventory, and team performance while leveraging data insights to inform decisions. With a focus on operational excellence and customer-centric outcomes, this position supports the execution of strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and deliver value across multiple channels.

They drive growth across sleepwear, bras, underwear, shapewear, and related categories while maintaining exceptional value. By integrating operational excellence and market knowledge, the team strengthens customer trust and loyalty, ensuring access to stylish, high-quality products at compelling prices. What you'll do:
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, incorporating market trends and customer insights.
  • Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including pricing, promotions, and inventory decisions to meet financial targets.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, establish performance metrics, and oversee supplier relationships and execution.
  • Drive channel strategy decisions and collaborate with supply chain to optimize product availability and delivery.
  • Oversee team performance, providing coaching, development, and managing priorities to achieve business goals.
  • Utilize data analysis to inform decisions, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support product lifecycle management, assortment planning, and modular layout execution across channels.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in category strategy development and execution for moderately complex categories.
  • Strong financial management skills, including profit and loss ownership and budget forecasting.
  • Expertise in supplier management and negotiation to drive price leadership and profitability.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in assortment planning, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated team management capabilities, including coaching and performance development.
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective decision-making skills with a customer-centric and omni-channel focus.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
