Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Operations – Transportation is a fast-paced, high-visibility role that serves as a trusted right hand to Transportation leadership. This role owns SVP-level business mechanisms, leads heavy content development for executive audiences, and ensures leaders are prepared with clear, accurate, and compelling materials. The role also drives smooth team operations by organizing team events and offsites and coordinating travel planning and logistics. Success requires strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, excellent organization, a self-starter mindset, strong attention to detail, and clear, confident communication.

What you'll do...

  • Own SVP-level mechanisms and operating cadence: Plan, manage, and continuously improve leadership routines (weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews, meetings, planning sessions), including agendas, action logs, follow-ups, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop executive-ready content: Create high-quality, concise, and compelling materials for senior leadership audiences (PowerPoint narratives, updates, business reviews, strategy decks, talking points), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment to Transportation priorities.
  • Drive execution of projects, workstreams, and programs: Manage and modify project plans, build and manage task timelines, maintain project data, and organize communications to ensure successful rollouts and implementations; identify performance standards, measure progress, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Provide decision support and insights: Source, organize, analyze, and interpret data to inform current and future business trends; translate analyses into recommendations aligned with business objectives; partner with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies that improve Transportation outcomes.
  • Manage implementation of business solutions: Build relationships with key stakeholders, leverage best practices to streamline processes, and develop tracking mechanisms/scorecards to improve business efficiency, reduce costs, and meet operational goals.
  • Coordinate events and engagement: Plan and execute team events and offsites (large and small), including logistics, agendas, communications, and follow-through to strengthen culture, alignment, and execution.
  • Own travel and logistics planning: Coordinate travel and meeting logistics for leaders and key team moments, ensuring efficient planning, cost awareness, and a smooth experience.
  • Support associate development and culture: Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to team members; promote company policies, ethics, and integrity; help remove barriers and enable continuous learning.
What you’ll bring…
  • Transportation operations acumen: Comfort operating in a Transportation environment and partnering across operations, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution.
  • Executive mechanism management: Proven ability to run senior-leader operating rhythms—building agendas, managing pre-reads, tracking actions, and driving closure in a high-visibility setting.
  • Exceptional content development skills: Advanced ability to craft executive-ready PowerPoint materials and written communications (clear storyline, crisp messaging, strong attention to detail).
  • Strong analytical capability: Advanced Excel skills and experience translating data into insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented: Strong planning, prioritization, and follow-through; ability to manage multiple workstreams with accuracy under tight timelines.
  • Self-starter mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, operate independently, and drive work forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management: Ability to communicate effectively across levels, influence without authority, and build strong partnerships.
  • Event and logistics management: Experience planning team events/offsites and coordinating travel and logistics with professionalism and discretion.
