About the team:
Our team serves as the financial planning and analytics center of excellence for Walmart U.S., delivering precise forecasts, actionable insights, and enterprise-wide financial guidance to support key business decisions. We collaborate across functions to enhance forecast accuracy, streamline planning processes, and increase visibility into performance. The team designs and implements automation and scalable tools to reduce manual tasks, enabling focus on strategic priorities. Beyond reporting, we identify process improvements and lead executive-level financial discussions, providing in-depth analysis and forward-looking insights that drive informed decision-making and better business outcomes at scale.
What you'll do:
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support business goals and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze financial and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting performance.
  • Develop predictive models and scenario analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Oversee month-end close activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes through automation and data governance.

What you'll bring:
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial statement analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
  • Proven experience in predictive analytics, financial modeling, and applying statistical techniques to support business planning.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and automation tools to enhance data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex financial insights clearly to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving continuous improvement and implementing process enhancements.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
