Role summary:The Manager, Supply Chain Management oversees the efficient flow of merchandise through distribution networks and fulfillment centers by resolving operational issues and analyzing data to enhance network performance. About the team:
The Backroom Processes team manages inbound freight payment exceptions for collect shipments, collaborating with Enterprise Business Services to ensure accurate carrier payments. The team resolves disputes involving temperature, accessorials, service, and shortages, determining accountability based on facts. They also identify potential fraud and work with Asset Protection on theft-related matters. Focused on consistent, data-driven decisions, the team safeguards Walmart’s interests by holding the appropriate parties responsible. Their efforts support efficient supply chain operations, enhance compliance, and contribute to continuous process improvements across the network.
What you'll do:
- Manage supply chain processes to ensure efficient merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.
- Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and return exceptions.
- Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to optimize flow paths aligning with sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve service levels, and streamline operations.
- Oversee performance reviews and provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders for corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners to support operational objectives and compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop associates to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing supply chain processes and resolving operational issues within complex distribution networks.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
